24 Hour Emergency Service

Whether in the heat of summer or the fridge months of cold Wisconsin weather, Rodgers Heating & Air, offers 24-hour emergency services to get your air conditioner, furnace, or other equipment up and running.

When you realize that your equipment has given out, call Rodgers Heating & Air Conditioning to reach our technicians to get you scheduled for service right away.

Better yet, don’t wait for an emergency to have your equipment serviced.  Rodgers Heating & Air offers preventative maintenance agreements.  This will give you peace of mind knowing your system is regularly maintained by our professional, trained service technicians.

Please note, there are a few steps that you can take before you make that call to us regarding your heating system:

  1. Make sure your thermostat is set to “heat”.
    • There are a lot of things to keep in mind when seasons change, so it’s understandable that you could forget to switch your thermostat over to “heat”.  Double check yours to make sure it is set.
  2. Check your furnace switch.
    • Your furnace switch looks like a normal light switch and should in the UP or ON position.  Once on, your furnace should turn on in a couple of minutes (most systems utilize built-in delays).
  3. Change your furnace filter.
    • Dirty filters are one of the most common reasons for inefficient furnace performance.  Be sure you’re changing your filter every one to three months for optimal performance.
  4. Check the circuit breaker.
    • Go to your home’s circuit breaker panel and find the breaker that controls your furnace.  Determine if it’s in the middle position of the OFF position.  If it is, cycle the breaker to OFF and reset it to the ON position.

What you need to know when you suspect your furnace needs a repair service:

  • If you notice a gas smell, please call Rodgers Heating & Air Condition right away.
  • If your furnace isn’t running, find the emergency shut off and try your breaker.  Switch them off, then on again.  If the system still doesn’t work, give Rodgers Heating & Air Conditioning a call so we can help determine the source of the problem.
